I just love characters frowning faces in panel 2. ^^
It looks like Kraelyn didn't like to talk of this project even after they escaped. Did she still feel attached enough to Priestesses to not even confide the whole secret to her mate, the one she loved? It looks like Jacind isn't the only responsible of the mess having happened later, despite how much he is blaming himself here.
Panel 6 : you could just have said you love her, Jacind. It's a very good explanation for "why not's".
(I don't get why he think it was maybe his biggest mistake to free the tekk by himself, though
